It sounds like: Eh-strong-heh-roe.

All goods are thrown on the wheel and may have handbuilt components, like handles. All product design, throwing, building, trimming, carving, painting, and glazing are done by me. Kiln firing is managed by a team of artists in a community studio in Northern Virginia.

The ceramic process by nature is unpredictable, and slight variations in dimensions, weight, shapes, and glaze are to be expected and lovingly embraced!

All goods are dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to prevent any chips of potential breakage of ceramic pieces and to preserve the integrity of the glaze.

All goods are also food- and microwave-safe (but not oven-safe) unless otherwise noted in the individual product description.

Avoid extreme temperature changes (like pouring hot liquids into a cold cup) as the shock can cause hairline cracks to form on your piece.

Because Estranghero Ceramics is not my full time job, I am squeezing in studio time on nights and weekends. There are many variables outside of my control in my community’s studio (e.g., availability of wheels to throw on, storage space, kiln firing schedules) that impact how quickly I can post new items to the shop.

To counter excessive waste, goods are carefully packaged using recyclable, compostable, or reused materials. If there are plastics found in your packaging, those are products that I am reusing from personal mail! Please reuse and recycle <3
